From October 16 to 20, 2025, the delegation of Lang Son province led by Ms. Trinh Tuyet Mai, Director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, together with representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches, went to Van Phu city, Guangdong province, China to attend the 3rd China - RCEP Industrial Cooperation Conference, the 22nd Van Phu International Stone Materials Science and Technology Fair and the 16th Van Phu Stone Culture Week and signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province and the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Van Phu city on developing friendly exchange and cooperation relations.

Within the framework of the program, on October 17, 2025, the Provincial Delegation met with the Delegation of Van Phu City led by Mr. Lu Xuan Vinh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Van Phu City People's Congress, along with leaders of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, People's Government and agencies and units of Van Phu City.

At the meeting, Ms. Trinh Tuyet Mai, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province, thanked Mr. Lu Xuan Vinh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Van Phu city and the leaders of Van Phu city for arranging a respectful and thoughtful reception for the provincial delegation and taking the time to meet with the delegation; highly appreciated the efforts of the focal agencies of the two sides in exchanging and connecting to quickly and effectively promote the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two sides from the working program at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou in August 2025.

|Ms. Trinh Tuyet Mai also informed and briefly introduced the potential and strengths of the province in various fields, especially emphasizing its role as a national gateway, an important connection point between Vietnam, ASEAN countries and China, Northeast Asian countries, and at the same time recommended that Mr. Lu Xuan Vinh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Yunfu City People's Congress and the leaders of Yunfu City continue to pay attention to directing and promoting the implementation of effective and practical cooperation in areas where both sides have potential and needs.
Mr. Lu Xuan Vinh, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Yunfu City People's Congress, welcomed the provincial delegation, including leaders of key departments and branches of the province, to attend events and survey and work in Yunfu City; at the same time, introduced basic information about the geographical location, socio -economic development situation... of Yunfu City. Mr. Lu Xuan Vinh said that Van Phu city is geographically located in the West of Guangdong province, is an important connection point between ASEAN countries and the Guangdong - Hong Kong - Macau Greater Bay Area, along with Lang Son province, is an important connection point between Vietnam, ASEAN countries and China, Northeast Asian countries, the two sides have geographical locations that complement each other, there is still much room for cooperation in economics - trade, science - technology, education, culture, agriculture, tourism, health... He expressed his agreement with the proposal and recommendation on strengthening cooperation in various fields between the two provinces - cities of the Lang Son Provincial Delegation , hoping to promote the cooperative relationship between the two sides to a higher level and a broader field.

At the end of the meeting, the provincial delegation visited, worked and surveyed the Wenshi Food Group, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, China. Wenshi Food Group was established in 1983 and has now developed into a modern agricultural and livestock group, operating inter-regionally, taking livestock and poultry farming as the main industry and developing related industries. The group currently ranks 98th in the list of private enterprises in China, and 3rd in the livestock sector in the world. By the end of 2024, Wenshi Food Group has 387 subsidiaries in more than 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions across China; about 43,000 cooperative farming households (family farms) and about 50,000 employees.

The business system of On Thi Food Group is constantly expanding and perfecting, with the field of raising chickens and pigs as the main field; raising ducks, cows, geese and pigeons as the supporting fields. In particular, the Group's products are raised entirely in a natural, clean way. At the same time, the Group develops other fields such as biopharmaceuticals, food processing, agricultural and livestock equipment, fresh food trading and financial investment, forming an increasingly perfect closed production and business chain model. The Group is a leading enterprise in agricultural modernization, and at the same time an innovative enterprise, owning many key scientific research platforms, and has its own Research Institute.

At the meeting, the Group's representative said that the Group is currently orienting to develop investment in the international market, in which Vietnam, especially Lang Son province, is a potential choice of the Group.
The Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs thanked the leaders of On Thi Food Group for the information exchanged and shared, and at the same time, briefly introduced the potential and strengths in the livestock sector of the province, with many native poultry breeds, suitable for the production and business model of the Group. Lang Son always welcomes On Thi Group to survey and learn about investment opportunities in the province.

During the working trip, the Provincial Delegation visited and surveyed the model of Zen Cultural Tourism at Quoc An Pagoda, also known as Long Son Pagoda , located at the foot of Long Son Mountain, Tan Hung District, Van Phu City, Guangdong Province (China), with an area of over 10,000 m² , built by the Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng - Founder of the Southern Zen Sect of China.
The delegation attended the 3rd China-RCEP Industrial Cooperation Conference co-hosted by the Yunfu Municipal People's Government, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and the RCEP Industrial Cooperation Committee with the theme "Expanding RCEP Industrial Cooperation, Forming New Advantages in Opening Up and Development", bringing together more than 500 Chinese and international delegates.

Ms. Trinh Tuyet Mai, Director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lang Son province, Vietnam and the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Van Phu city, Guangdong province, China on developing friendly and cooperative relations; inaugurating the RCEP Industrial Cooperation Zone China (Guangdong - Van Phu) - Malaysia (Johor Bahru) and the Yunfu City RCEP Industrial Park . Provincial delegates visited the 3rd Stainless Steel Utensils and Intelligent Metal Manufacturing Industry Exhibition Site; attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Yunfu International Stone Materials Science and Technology Fair and the 16th Yunfu Stone Culture Week co-hosted by Yunfu Municipal Government , Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Guangdong Provincial Association for the Promotion of Trade, with the theme of “Gathering in Stone City, Opening Up the Smart Future” . The delegation also visited the exhibition area at the Van Phu Stone International Exhibition and Trading Center , lasting from October 18 to 21 , with more than 100 participating enterprises , an exhibition area of over 150,000 m² , covering the entire industry chain: mining - processing - machinery - accessories , demonstrating the innovation and digital transformation achievements of the Van Phu stone industry , while creating opportunities to expand the international market.
