Ensure absolute security and safety of Ha Long Concert

With the theme “Heritage Spirit - Brightening the Future”, Ha Long Concert 2025 taking place on the evening of October 29 is expected to welcome more than 30,000 people and tourists. To ensure absolute safety for the people and tourists, the Provincial Police have deployed synchronous measures to ensure security and order from a distance, early on.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Dung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, inspected the implementation of the security and order plan for the Ha Long Concert at October 30 Square, Ha Long Ward.

Up to this point, all plans to ensure absolute security and safety for the Ha Long Concert program have been implemented synchronously by the Provincial Police in coordination with relevant departments, branches, and local authorities. In addition to promoting the application of achievements from the digital transformation process, the national database on population and new technologies to ensure security and order, the Provincial Police Department also requested the police of units and localities to mobilize maximum forces and means to deploy all aspects of work.

The Internal Political Security Department (Provincial Police) coordinated with Ha Long Ward Police to review plans to ensure security and order in the grandstand area.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Phu, Deputy Head of Internal Political Security Department (Provincial Police) said:   To ensure absolute security and safety for activities within the framework of the Concert, the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department have proactively issued programs and plans to direct the police force of the whole province to concentrate maximum forces and means, deploy plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety, ensure communication, fire prevention and fighting... The Provincial Police have mobilized more than 900 officers and soldiers, divided into 90 key teams to synchronously deploy professional measures, coordinate with the Organizing Committee, deploy measures to ensure security and safety; from printing and issuing tickets to activities within the framework of the program.

With the highest goal and requirement of not allowing sudden and unexpected incidents to occur, Ha Long Ward Police and the Provincial Police's professional departments have also simultaneously deployed professional measures, proactively grasped the situation, prevented all types of crimes; guided and directed traffic to prevent traffic jams...

Major Le Quang Tien, Deputy Chief of Ha Long Ward Police, said: Along with close coordination with the provincial police departments, the Ha Long ward police commander has directed the crime prevention teams, security teams, and local police teams to strengthen the screening of all types of subjects; especially criminals and drug users; conduct identity checks, deterrence and prevention. At the same time, mobilize forces to protect security and order at the grassroots level, coordinate with the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) to deploy many working groups to patrol the area.

The Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) mobilized maximum force and vehicles, deployed 20 fixed and mobile teams to direct traffic to serve people and tourists participating in the Ha Long Concert.

On October 29, when the Ha Long Concert takes place, the density of people and vehicles will increase dramatically. Authorities also recommend and request people and tourists attending the Ha Long Concert to strictly follow the traffic flow plan and instructions of the authorities. Any intentional violations will be strictly handled according to regulations.
