Conference on Linking Tourism Development of Some Provinces and Cities in the Central Coast - Central Highlands Region

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of May 30, at FLC Nhon Ly Convention Center (Quy Nhon City), Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to organize a Conference on Linking Tourism Development in a Number of Provinces and Cities in the Central Coast - Central Highlands Region.

Attending the Conference were comrades: Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of Vietnam National Tourism Administration; Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Departments of Tourism/Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak; along with tourism experts, representatives of airlines, Vietnam Railways Corporation , investors, tourism service businesses in and outside the province.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang affirmed that, as the host locality, coordinating with the National Tourism Administration to organize the conference, Binh Dinh province is committed to always accompany, share responsibility and create the most favorable conditions for the joint action programs to be implemented in a practical, continuous and effective manner.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that, after this conference, not only will the signing of cooperation memorandums of understanding be stopped, but many new tours will be formed, new tourist streams will be shared, new joint products will be introduced to the market, thereby bringing practical values ​​to the people in the region. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the association not only aims to develop the tourism industry, but also motivates localities in the region to develop together, while enhancing the position of the region and each locality on the national and international tourism map.

With a sense of responsibility, openness and cooperation, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee believes that this conference will be an important milestone, opening a new phase of deeper and more effective connection, creating great added value, spreading to many other fields and positively contributing to the socio -economic development of localities in the region.

Session 2 of the conference is a Roundtable Discussion on linkage and cooperation in tourism development among a number of provinces and cities in the Central Coast - Central Highlands region.

The conference includes two in-depth discussion sessions, in which Session 1 focuses on future travel trends, with content updating global tourism trends, the development of digital technology, changes in tourist behavior and national strategic orientation to attract international visitors. Session 2 is a roundtable discussion revolving around the topic of linkage and cooperation in tourism development between a number of provinces and cities in the Central Coast - Central Highlands region, emphasizing the role of infrastructure, connectivity and experience as keys to developing inbound tourism for Quy Nhon. The content of this session focuses on proposing effective linkage models, developing unique tourism products, enhancing coordination in promotion and advertising, improving service capacity and opening up opportunities for inbound tourism development through upgrading infrastructure, positioning destination brands, building a series of unique experiences and implementing international communication strategies.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu emphasized that this conference is not only an opportunity for localities to look at and evaluate the current state of tourism development, share experiences and clearly identify opportunities and challenges, but more importantly, it has opened up new directions for coordination and regional linkage in a practical, synchronous and sustainable manner. All for the common goal of making the tourism industry in the Central Coast - Central Highlands region one of the important driving forces, contributing to the realization of the national tourism development strategy.

In addition, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu emphasized that local authorities in the region need to strengthen closer coordination in tourism development, especially promoting links with local businesses to develop unique and quality tourism products. He also suggested that localities need to promote factors related to mechanisms, policies and technology application, thereby creating favorable conditions for businesses to innovate and expand their operations.

The Deputy Director affirmed that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration will continue to accompany localities, promote more effectively the commitments made, towards building a substantive and sustainable regional linkage chain. At the same time, he highly appreciated the active coordination between localities and the active contribution of delegates, contributing significantly to the overall success of this conference.
