On the morning of December 2, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien chaired a working session with units under the Ministry on preparations for the 2024 Conference on the Summary of the Natural Resources and Environment Sector and the deployment of key directions and tasks for 2025.
According to the Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , the conference to summarize the work of 2024 and deploy the tasks of 2025 of the Natural Resources and Environment Sector is expected to take place for half a day in the last 2 weeks of December 2024 at the Ministry's headquarters in person.
Regarding the composition, it is expected to invite Government leaders; leaders of Central Committees, Ministries and branches; agencies of the National Assembly , leaders of ministries and branches related to the management of the field of Natural Resources and Environment; representatives of the People's Committees, Directors of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of 63 provinces and centrally-run cities.
Regarding the Conference documents, including: Summary report, assessment of the results of state management work in 2024 and directions and tasks of the Natural Resources and Environment sector in 2025; Documentary film on the outstanding results and achievements of the Natural Resources and Environment sector in 2024 and goals, tasks and solutions in 2025; Announcement of 10 typical events in 2024 of the Natural Resources and Environment sector.
Thematic reports include: The situation of developing projects and legal documents in 2024, directions and tasks in 2025; Report on assessing the work of perfecting and rearranging the organizational apparatus; Results of administrative reform in 2024 and goals and tasks in 2025; Action program of the Natural Resources and Environment sector on key solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan in 2025... presentations from the fields of land, geology, minerals, environment, digital transformation, climate change and some localities.
At the meeting, delegates basically agreed on the proposal for the preparation of the Conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025 of the Natural Resources and Environment sector, which was built by the Ministry's Office, and at the same time reported the results of the implementation of assigned tasks such as: summarizing the results of the sector in 2024; documentary images; 10 events of the sector...
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quy Kien acknowledged and highly appreciated the positivity and proactiveness of the Ministry's Office and units in preparing for the 2024 Conference to review the Natural Resources and Environment Sector and deploy tasks for 2025.
Organizing the Conference in a warm, economical and effective spirit, the Deputy Minister requested the subordinate units to urgently complete and send reports to serve the preparation work for the summary organization, in which, the Ministry Office urgently built a brief and concise summary report, highlighting the highlights of the industry in 2024 and specific tasks in 2025.
Deputy Minister Tran Quy Kien also directed the Natural Resources and Environment Newspaper and the Natural Resources and Environment Communication Center to coordinate with units to speed up the progress of making a documentary film about the outstanding results and achievements of the Natural Resources and Environment Sector in 2024 and the goals, tasks, and solutions in 2025...
