According to the report of the Ministry of Home Affairs , from the beginning of 2024 to now, the Ministry has completed 184/256 time-limited tasks, is implementing 72 tasks, and has no overdue tasks. Some outstanding results include: Completing the goal of rearranging district and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period in 2024 and implementing 4/6 contents of reforming public sector salary policies.
The Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province has regularly reviewed and systematized legal documents, promptly advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue legal documents on the field of Home Affairs. The work of reviewing and planning cadres has been well implemented, with 100% of cadre, civil servant and public employee records in the province updated and connected to the National Database on cadres, civil servants and public employees.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that 2025 is the year of the term's completion, the whole sector needs to focus on implementing 11 key tasks and solutions. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to implementing Resolution 18, guiding ministries, sectors and localities to arrange and streamline the public administrative apparatus. The Deputy Prime Minister also requested units to be proactive, pioneering and exemplary in implementing the merger between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

At the conference, decisions on emulation and rewards for 2024 were announced. Lao Cai Provincial Department of Home Affairs was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Home Affairs for excellently completing assigned tasks.
