Quang Ninh Farmers' Association: Arousing emulation movements from the roles of cadres and organizations of the Association

Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quang Minh Commune (Hai Ha District) is a typical example. Having been involved in the Association's work and the farmers' movement for many years, Mr. Thanh has always been proactive in researching and advising local Party committees and authorities on many programs and solutions to improve the quality of emulation movements among farmers. Mr. Thanh said: As an Association officer, I am always close to the grassroots, regularly exchanging, grasping thoughts and aspirations, and accompanying and guiding members and farmers in the whole commune to boldly deploy new models, apply VietGAP processes, apply technology to production, increase income, improve life and build the homeland. Typical examples are the deployment and replication of automatic irrigation models on vegetables and ornamental peach trees. Currently, these models are being maintained and developed by members and farmers in the area, bringing economic efficiency.

Or like Ms. La Thi Huong, an officer of the Dong Trieu City Farmers' Association, not only advised on organizing 8 training courses for more than 700 grassroots cadres, she was also a pioneer in directing the implementation of the application "Vietnam Farmers' Digital Platform" for nearly 7,000 members - bringing digital transformation into the lives of members in a practical and effective way. In Cam Pha City, Ms. Dang Ngoc Dung, President of the Duong Huy Commune Farmers' Association, has successfully organized and implemented many projects borrowing capital from Farmers' Support Funds at all levels, helping dozens of members build models of growing guava, Vinh oranges, raising buffaloes for breeding... She is also the pioneer in building a model garden, one of the important criteria in the advanced NTM. In Binh Lieu town (Binh Lieu district), Ms. Ly Thi Tam, Chairwoman of the town's Farmers' Association, has had many practical initiatives such as building pesticide packaging treatment furnaces, environmental protection models, organizing technology transfer classes, connecting loans... The programs directed by her have directly supported dozens of members to access resources and techniques, thereby contributing to the formation of clean and sustainable agricultural production areas.

In addition to the excellent cores, the patriotic emulation movement at all levels of the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh also recorded the synchronous rise of grassroots organizations. Typically, the Farmers' Association of Dam Ha district has actively implemented emulation movements, contributing to making Dam Ha the first locality in the country to be recognized as a district meeting advanced NTM standards. The district Farmers' Association has also mobilized and accompanied members and farmers to implement many economic development models such as: Intensive custard apple cultivation, passion fruit value chain linkage, contributing to increasing income and improving farmers' lives. On average, each year, the district Farmers' Association has more than 3,000 households registering to compete in excellent production and business at all levels and about 2,800 households have achieved the title.

The Farmers' Association of Dai Duc commune (Tien Yen district) has actively promoted and mobilized people to donate land and trees for investment projects in the commune: Roads to Khe Luc My, Khe Ngan, Khe Quang - Phai Giac; construction of the commune's ethnic cultural and sports center; construction of clean water tanks in Khe Lac and Keo Kai villages. Over the past 5 years, Dai Duc members and farmers have contributed more than 4,500 working days; donated nearly 12,000m2 of various types of land to build 7 inter-commune roads with a length of 11km, build new and repair over 3.5km of canals.

Thanks to the propaganda and mobilization of the Commune Farmers' Association, the people of Dai Duc Commune (Tien Yen District) have contributed to the successful construction of many new rural roads.

The active participation of the Association's cadres and typical HND organizations has been and continues to inspire each cadre, member, and farmer to promote internal strength, solidarity, creativity, overcome difficulties, continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to building Quang Ninh to become more and more developed.
