Workshop on digital transformation in party agencies, Vietnam Fatherland Front and political organizations

This morning, October 31, in Dong Ha City, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee Office jointly organized a workshop with the theme "Digital transformation in party agencies; Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, current situation and solutions". Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang attended. Speaking at the workshop, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office Le The Quang said that from the beginning of the 2020 - 2025 term, with the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, there have been many efforts and creativity in implementation, initially bringing important results from investing in developing technical infrastructure, equipment for digital transformation, training human resources, implementing "digitalization" of documents and data to deploying the application of digital transformation achievements in Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. These results have initially changed the awareness, thinking, content and methods of operation of the system and cadres and civil servants.

Agencies and units have actively deployed digital transformation application software systems, bringing convenience, saving time, costs, and human resources. Digital transformation has a rapid spread from the application of technology in implementation, propaganda to movements and campaigns of each organization, each field of activity and each individual.

The workshop listened to reports from the Provincial Party Committee Office; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; Standing Committee of Vinh Linh District Party Committee; Standing Committee of Provincial Youth Union; Provincial Women's Union.

The presentations revolved around the following contents: "The Provincial Party Committee Office with the task of advising and guiding the digital transformation work in the system of party agencies"; "Application of digital transformation in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province"; "Application of the electronic Party Member Handbook in the activities of the Party cell at the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises"; "Initial results in the application of digital transformation in the activities of party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in Vinh Linh district"; "Application of digital transformation in the activities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Tri province"...

This workshop aims to further raise awareness of Party committees at all levels, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; cadres and Party members about the importance of digital transformation. Introduce good models, creative ways of applying digital transformation in agencies and units, and at the same time discuss difficulties, obstacles and lessons learned.

On that basis, propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of digital transformation application in consulting, directing and operating the work of Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

Speaking at the workshop, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang highly appreciated the content of the presentations at the workshop. Identifying digital transformation as a strategic, urgent and long-term task of the political system, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that Party agencies; the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations need to ensure unity, interconnection and synchronization of the digital transformation process.

Continue to innovate thinking, strengthen the leadership role of the Party, the management role of the State, promote the participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, and people in the process of promoting digital transformation.

Review and evaluate the current status of technical infrastructure and data infrastructure in the Party, Front and socio-political organizations. Focus on building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements of digital transformation.

Concluding the workshop, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam summarized the results and applications of digital transformation that units and localities have deployed in the area. At the same time, he proposed a number of tasks and solutions to strongly promote digital transformation in party agencies; the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the coming time, such as: raising awareness of digital transformation in party committees at all levels through various forms of propaganda and seminars; incorporating digital transformation content into training and coaching programs, integrating into conferences and professional meetings.

Party committees under the Provincial Party Committee, agencies and units in the Party bloc, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations should study and establish steering committees for digital transformation at all levels, and arrange specialized staff to advise leaders of agencies and units in carrying out digital transformation tasks. It is necessary to review, develop and supplement specific plans to implement digital transformation work most effectively.
