Contest "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps": Youth and women of the Traffic Police Department won first prize

Attending the event were Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Huong Lan, Deputy Head of the Women's Committee of the People's Public Security ( Ministry of Public Security ). Also attending were leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The contest is a broad political activity to practically celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday on May 19 (1890 - 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Public Security Force on August 19 (1945 - 2025).

In his opening speech, Colonel Tran The Cuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, emphasized that the contest aims to raise awareness among cadres, union members, and members of the Provincial Police about the life and career of Uncle Ho; the content, meaning, importance, and great value of the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Police.

The contest "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps" in 2025 has the participation of 8 teams from grassroots unions, associations, and all cadres, union members, and women's union members of the Provincial Police.

Each team has 5 members; going through 3 rounds: We talk about ourselves, knowledge and presentation. In the first round, the teams introduce their team members and their work unit through poetry, folk songs, drama, etc.

Competition of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department team.

In the knowledge test, the teams will choose a set of questions prepared by the Organizing Committee, each set has 10 questions. The teams will take turns quickly answering 10 questions within 1 minute and 30 seconds. These are questions related to historical events, famous quotes of President Ho Chi Minh ; information and data about heroic police martyrs who contributed to the revolution...

In the presentation round, the teams chose the topic of eloquence about the Party and Uncle Ho; Uncle Ho and the People's Public Security Force; Uncle Ho and the People; Six things Uncle Ho taught the People's Public Security Force. The members participating in the eloquence were illustrated with the art forms of singing and dancing.

Colonel Tran The Cuong awarded the first prize to the Traffic Police Department team and the second prize to the Subordinate Block team.

At the end of the competition, the Traffic Police Department team won the first prize with the contest "We talk about ourselves". The Organizing Committee also awarded the second prize to the team of the Subordinate Block; the third prize to two teams: the Investigation Block and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department and 4 Encouragement prizes to the units.
