Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on behalf of Party and State leaders, delivered an important speech at the Congress.
The Congress is a political event of special importance to the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in the province. The Congress is held at a time when the entire Party, people and army are striving to compete for achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; it is a time when the Party's will blends with the people's heart, determined to successfully implement the goals and orientations for national development until 2030, self-reliance, confidence, and strong progress in the era of national development.
The Congress listened to the Congress Presidium present documents, focusing on the Draft Political Report of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Review Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2020 - 2025; and synthesized opinions on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party. At the same time, the Congress divided into groups to discuss and contribute opinions on the Documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At the Congress, delegates heard the announcement of the Politburo and Secretariat's Decisions on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 1st term. The announcement of the Politburo's Decision on appointing delegates to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The first Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 has the theme: "Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland; continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members; developing the economy - society rapidly and sustainably, closely linked with maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs; accompanying the whole country to firmly step forward in the era of national development".
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress has the task of summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of Party Delegates of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, term 2020 - 2025; determining the direction, goals, tasks, solutions for the term 2025 - 2030 and discussing and contributing opinions to the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
In the Congress program, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term I, 2025 - 2030, and the Delegation attending the 14th National Congress of the Party introduced themselves to the Congress; at the same time, they said goodbye to the comrades of the Party Executive Committees of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces (old) for the term 2020 - 2025 who did not participate in the Provincial Party Executive Committee of Tuyen Quang (new).
The opening session of the Congress this morning (September 24) was broadcast live on TTV channel and on digital platforms of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television.
