More than 1,000 people in the highlands of Da Nang received free medical examination and treatment.

The Ben Giang Commune Community Volunteer Program aims to concretize the policy of caring for social security and improving the quality of health care for people in remote areas where medical conditions are lacking.

The program took place at Ca Dy - Ta Bhing Inter-commune Boarding Secondary School (Ben Giang village, Ben Giang commune, Da Nang) and provided general examination services, vision measurement, cataract surgery, dental examination, physical therapy, health consultation and free medicine to more than 1,000 people.

In addition, 1,000 gifts were also given to the people. The total value of the program is estimated at about 1.7 billion VND.

Together with a team of doctors and professional volunteers, the Da Nang Youth Union members directly participated in many meaningful activities such as providing logistical support, guiding people to medical examinations, and interpreting local languages...
