More than 100 Tet gifts for workers in Hai Duong

(Dan Tri) - The working delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education coordinated with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to present more than 100 Tet gifts to workers in Hai Duong province.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the afternoon of January 9, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Culture andEducation Committee led by Vice Chairman Trieu The Hung coordinated with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to present Tet gifts to workers in Hai Duong.

More than 100 gifts were given to workers at Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Dai An Industrial Park (Hai Duong City) and Venture International Joint Stock Company in Lai Cach town (Cam Giang district).

Each Tet gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND. Although the material value of the gifts may not be large, they show concern and solidarity in caring for the lives of workers.

Grasping the general situation, the Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Education was impressed with the economic growth results of Hai Duong province in 2024, estimated at 10.2%, the 3rd highest out of 11 in the Red River Delta region (after Hai Phong and Ha Nam ).

According to Mr. Trieu The Hung, Hai Duong's achievements in 2024 have the contributions and dedication of workers in the province.

In recent years, the trade unions at all levels in Hai Duong province have organized many activities to take care of the Tet holiday for union members and workers. In particular, Hai Duong has organized the program "Tet Sum Vay" for workers with many practical and meaningful activities.

Enterprises in the area fully implement policies and regimes and have many benefits for employees.
