More than 180 athletes participate in the Phu Yen Procuracy Sports Festival 2025

At the Provincial Federation of Labor's Multi-purpose Gymnasium, the Phu Yen Procuracy's 2025 Open Sports Festival has just concluded after two exciting days. This year's sports festival gathered more than 180 athletes from 16 teams of the People's Procuracy at two levels in the province, competing in the following sports: men's volleyball, badminton, table tennis, mixed men's and women's tug of war, and relay vaulting.

In addition, the Provincial People's Procuracy also invited the men's volleyball teams of units in the Provincial Party Agencies' Emulation Bloc (including the Organizing Committee, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies), Xuan Phuoc Prison and Agribank Phu Yen Branch to participate, increasing the exchange and connection between agencies and units in the area.

At the end of the sports festival, the organizing committee awarded 23 prizes to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in the competitions. In particular, the first prize in men's volleyball went to Xuan Phuoc Prison; Song Hinh District People's Procuracy won the first prize in mixed tug of war; Dong Hoa Town People's Procuracy led the relay vault. In table tennis, Phan Chi Tai (Department 8, Provincial People's Procuracy) won the first prize in men's singles; Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (General Office) won the first prize in women's singles; Phan Chi Tai - Nguyen Ngoc Duyen (Department 8, Provincial People's Procuracy) won the first prize in mixed doubles. Deputy Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy Huynh Ngoc Thanh said: The sports festival is an activity to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, and at the same time, towards the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Procuracy (July 26, 1960 - July 26, 2025). This is also an annual activity to contribute to promoting the physical training movement, creating a healthy playground for cadres, civil servants and employees of the People's Procuracy at two levels to exchange, strengthen close relationships, and enhance the spirit of solidarity. Maintaining and developing the sports movement not only helps improve the physical strength and spirit of the team of prosecutors, but also creates motivation for the whole sector to successfully complete assigned political tasks.
