Parents of students at Vo Thi Sau Primary School (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) reported that their children vomited, had stomachaches, and were hospitalized after returning from school.

According to the reflection of parents of students in grades 2 and 3 at Vo Thi Sau Primary School with Thanh Nien reporter, yesterday afternoon (April 9), after coming home from school, "the child vomited a lot, could not eat, vomited every time he ate, had a stomachache, had a fever all night, the family took him to the hospital this morning (April 10)". In addition, another parent also informed that the class his child is studying in also had 8 students who had to be hospitalized with symptoms of food poisoning. These parents said that the students were boarding students and used meals at school.
In response to the parents' complaints, Mr. Phan Thanh Phong, Principal of Vo Thi Sau Primary School (District 7), confirmed to Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters that this incident had occurred. The school has recorded and received information from the parents and has sent a report to the Health Department, Health Center, and Education and Training Department of District 7 for instructions on how to handle the situation.
According to Mr. Phong, the school uses industrial catering to serve meals for boarding students.

On the evening of April 9, at around 6:49 p.m., Ms. Le Thi Minh Hieu, the representative of the parents of class 3/2 and also the deputy representative of the parents of the school, informed the parents of classes 3/3, 3/4, and 3/5 that some children had stomachaches and vomited.
This morning, April 10, the school's medical department counted and heard reports from homeroom teachers of the upper classes: 21 students were absent from school for the following reasons: stomachache, vomiting and some had diarrhea since the night of April 9. Of these, 7 children went to the hospital and were examined and sent home for care and monitoring. Currently, the situation of the 21 children is more stable.
Class 3/6 just reported that a student vomited when coming home. This morning, April 10, he went to the doctor and was hospitalized for observation.
From the information learned, the school requested the medical department to keep the food samples sealed as of April 9.
Vo Thi Sau Primary School would like to report these cases to the Health Department and District 7 Medical Center for instructions on how to handle them.
