More than 27 billion VND for social charity activities

(CT) - According to the Representative Board of Hoa Hao Buddhism in Can Tho City, in the third quarter of 2025, officials and followers of Hoa Hao Buddhism in the city actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.

The City's Hoa Hao Buddhist Representative Board and the Hoa Hao Buddhist Executive Boards of communes and wards encouraged followers to carry out social charity activities well: giving out 2,000 gifts to people in difficult circumstances; coordinating the construction and repair of 4 traffic bridges with a total amount of more than 1.4 billion VND; building and upgrading 5.5km of traffic roads with a total value of more than 450 million VND. The city's Hoa Hao Buddhist followers also contributed 2.7 billion VND and working days to build 122 charity houses for households with difficult housing conditions; organizing charity kitchens, ambulances to serve difficult circumstances, poor patients...

In total, the total value of social charity activities in the third quarter of 2025 is more than 27.56 billion VND.
