Phu Loc: Exciting activities to celebrate the founding day of the Vietnam Women's Union

(CTO) - On October 20, the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Phu Loc commune (Can Tho city) organized many activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), and the 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 95-year tradition of building, developing and growing up of the Vietnam Women's Union, honoring the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of Vietnamese women in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; including women of Phu Loc commune.

Exciting lemon passing game.

Within the framework of the activities, the Association organized a cooking contest and folk games, attracting the participation of women from 13 teams, representatives of 28 hamlet branches and the Commune Police Women's Association. The teams competed in 2 rounds: the lemon passing game and cooking family meals, dishes that ensured nutrition, were suitable for economic conditions, especially food safety and hygiene. The competitions took place in an exciting and joyful atmosphere, demonstrating the ingenuity, responsibility and solidarity of the women's association members.

The meeting and contest are an opportunity to create a useful playground, enhance exchange and connection between women members; at the same time, arouse the spirit of competition, promote the qualities of "Confidence - self-respect - loyalty - responsibility" of Vietnamese women in the new era, contributing to building happy families and increasingly developed localities.
