Accordingly, from October 21 to now, due to the influence of storm No. 12 causing heavy rain, rising river water levels combined with coastal high tides, the coastal section through Tan An Hai village, Phu Loc commune has suffered very severe erosion with a length of about 500m, eroding 10-15m deep into the mainland, up to 20m in some places and eroding directly into the traffic route from 0.5-2m. This is the only route leading to the Hai Binh residential area (Tan An Hai village) currently has 63 households with 190 people living.

Currently, the sea waves are rising and there is a risk of continued widespread erosion, causing damage and collapse of the road and isolating the entire Hai Binh residential area, Tan An Hai village, Phu Loc commune.
The Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee assigned the Chairman of the Phu Loc Commune People's Committee, Head of the Commune Civil Defense Command, to continue to urgently organize and implement initial preventive measures to minimize damage caused by natural disasters in coastal areas.
