Accordingly, from October 21st to the present, due to the influence of the remnants of Typhoon No. 12 causing heavy rain and rising river levels combined with high tides along the coast, the coastal section through Tan An Hai village, Phu Loc commune, has suffered severe erosion over a length of approximately 500m, encroaching 10-15m inland, and in some places up to 20m, directly eroding the road by 0.5-2m. This is the only road leading to the Hai Binh residential area (Tan An Hai village), where 63 households with 190 people currently live.

Currently, the sea waves are rising and there is a risk of continued widespread erosion, causing damage and collapse of the road and isolating the entire Hai Binh residential area, Tan An Hai village, Phu Loc commune.
The Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee assigned the Chairman of the Phu Loc Commune People's Committee, Head of the Commune Civil Defense Command, to continue to urgently organize and implement initial preventive measures to minimize damage caused by natural disasters in coastal areas.
