More than 6,000 athletes participate in the third season of the “BaDen Mountain International Marathon” in 2025

On the morning of August 3, 2025, at the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area Square in Tay Ninh province, more than 6,000 athletes from home and abroad participated in the Ba Den Mountain International Marathon 2025.

This is the third season of the race, with 4 competition distances: 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km, for all ages and fitness levels from beginners to professional athletes.

Not just a race, with the theme “THE LEGENDARY RUN – LEGENDARY RUN”, the race is not only a gathering place for sports spirit, but also an inspiring journey to explore nature – culture – spirituality in the land rich in Tay Ninh identity. The most impressive highlight of BaDen Mountain International Marathon this year is the running route, spreading the beautiful image of Tay Ninh to a wide range of domestic and foreign tourists.

Athletes experience the running route

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to outstanding athletes according to distance, age group and many other secondary prizes. In particular, the first prize for the male in the 42km distance was awarded to athlete Edwin Yebei Kiptoo (Kenyan nationality) and the first prize for the female was awarded to athlete Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa. In the 21km distance, the first prize for the male was awarded to athlete Hoang Nguyen Thanh, the first prize for the female was awarded to athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan. In the 10km distance, the first prize for the male was awarded to athlete Le Huu Loc, the first prize for the female was awarded to athlete Le Thi Kim Phuong. In the 5km distance, the first prize for the male was awarded to athlete Nguyen Trung Hieu, the first prize for the female was awarded to athlete Nguyen Thi Hiep.
