More than 7,000 works participated in the contest "Happy Vietnam"

On the morning of November 23 in Hanoi, the Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Information and Communications held a press conference to announce information about the Award Ceremony and Photo and Video Exhibition "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2023". This is an online photo and video contest on the platform to promote Vietnam's image at the website: https://happy.vietnam.vn organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs Information, Ministry of Information and Communications.

After 4 months of launching, from June 15, 2023 to October 15, 2022, the Contest has received great attention from professional and non-professional Vietnamese and foreign authors participating with many valuable works about the beauty of nature, country, and people across all regions of Vietnam and abroad.

From there, it contributes to strongly spreading the noble human values, empathy and concern of the community for the lives of each citizen with the desire to "leave no one behind", while at the same time arousing the aspiration to build and develop an increasingly prosperous Vietnam.

Many works are presented with a new, objective perspective on life, society and the development of the country and people of Vietnam, conveying the message of a happy, civilized and powerful Vietnam.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, from more than 7,000 participating works, the Organizing Committee and the Jury - experts from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; Vietnam Cinema Association and many experts in the field of photography and cinema have worked very impartially and responsibly to select the best works to award.

The contest also shows a new trend in social media work, based on the application of digital technology , digital platforms and mobilizing the strength of the entire population to develop digital data to effectively serve information and propaganda work.

The award ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on the evening of December 19, 2023 with many special art programs broadcast live on Vietnamese Culture Television Channel VTC1 0, VTC Digital Television Station.

After the Award Ceremony, the Organizing Committee will use valuable works to display the Exhibition at a number of public places for the public to enjoy and widely spread the meaning of the event.
