During the exam period, the cool weather partly created good conditions for the health and psychological comfort of the "students". After stressful exam days, many candidates "breathed a sigh of relief" because they had completed the 4 subjects smoothly.
Most candidates said that the exams for basic subjects: Math, Literature, English were not too long, the knowledge was within their reach... However, many candidates said that the exams for specialized subjects, especially Math, Biology, Chemistry... were quite difficult and had high differentiation. There were difficult questions that made candidates take a long time to complete the exam.
Nguyen Thao Vi, from Tuy Duc district, said: “I took the Biology exam for Nguyen Chi Thanh High School for the Gifted. The basic subjects were not too difficult, I could do them all. However, the Biology exam was quite difficult, so I could only do about 50%.”
For the specialized subjects of Literature, History, Geography, etc., candidates are quite comfortable, thinking that this year's exam is not too difficult or has any surprising elements. Spending a lot of time reviewing and mastering the knowledge, many candidates are confident that they will have the opportunity to win a place in a specialized school.
Phan Hoang My, Dak R'lap district, taking the History exam at Nguyen Chi Thanh High School for the Gifted, shared: "I found the exam to be quite good, somewhat easier than the mock exams I've done. The History exam wasn't very extensive, it was relatively contained in the outline and in the books I reviewed."
Following their children closely during the exam days, many parents, regardless of sun or rain, stay at the exam school gate to accompany their children.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, in Gia Nghia City, a parent taking her child to the exam, said: "When taking my child to the exam, I often feel nervous and worried about him. I worry but I don't let him know, I just encourage him to take the exam and try to get the best results."
According to the assessment of the Examination Council of Nguyen Chi Thanh High School for the Gifted and Gia Nghia High School, thanks to careful preparation in all aspects, the exam took place seriously and safely, with no violations of regulations.
Mr. Le Van Ha, Chairman of the Examination Council of Gia Nghia High School, commented: "After the days of entrance exams for grade 10 at Nguyen Chi Thanh High School for the Gifted, at the Gia Nghia High School examination site, the organization of the exam was serious, in accordance with regulations, there were no violations of examination regulations and the tasks assigned by the Departmentof Education and Training were completed."
