Growing up in a family with 4 generations of embroidery, artisan Pham Thi Hoa was taught embroidery by her father since she was 8 years old. Now she has been involved in the profession for nearly 60 years. She shares: "To create a quality embroidery product is very elaborate. For each embroidery picture, the craftsman needs to sketch a drawing to shape the composition of the picture and draw the details, then use wax paper, a needle pen to chisel along the lines, and use oil to rub the lines so that the lines "eat" into the fabric. After finishing the sketching stage, the embroidery lines begin. Therefore, to have a beautiful embroidery, the craftsman must be both skillful and focused when embroidering, so that the product is lively and soulful."
