6th Business Coffee Meeting

(CT) - On May 26th, at Legacy Mekong Can Tho, Autograph Collection, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City organized the 6th Business Coffee Meeting.

Here, leaders of the City's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism provided information on policies and development directions for tourism from now until the end of the year; and shared the results of addressing feedback and suggestions from businesses in tourism activities over the past period. Specifically, the Department has worked with the Ninh Kieu Ward People's Committee and relevant departments and agencies to gradually resolve environmental issues, build criteria for green tourism, strengthen tourism human resource training, develop tourism products, and provide guidance on transportation for tourists… The units also discussed building a tourism stimulus program for summer 2026, preparing promotional content for a series of local cultural, sports and tourism events until the end of the year, and participating in building products and services according to green criteria.

Leaders of the City's Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center informed businesses about the 2026 Can Tho City Culture and Tourism Week, themed "Tay Do Shines with Summer Colors," scheduled to take place from June 18-21 in the Ninh Kieu Wharf area. The event will include activities such as a photo exhibition on Can Tho tourism, a culinary demonstration space showcasing traditional cakes, tourism promotion programs, tour route connections, and artistic performances.
