Cooperation to connect tourism with Jeju Island (Korea)

The two sides signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of joint tourism products, thereby promoting the exchange of tourists between the parties; at the same time, they discussed the launch and development of flights from Jeju Island to Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh.

Previously, from April 27 to 29, a delegation of the Jeju Island Tourism Association, Korea, surveyed Van Don International Airport, Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh Hot Spring Resort, Yen Duc Village Tourist Area, Cai Chien Island and many other tourist destinations and services in Quang Ninh province.

South Korea is currently one of the key international tourist markets for Quang Ninh tourism. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, South Korea has been one of the largest international markets sending visitors to Quang Ninh. Promoting cooperation, linking, and exchanging visitors with travel agencies, tourism associations, and local authorities of South Korea, including Jeju Island, has always been focused on by Quang Ninh province and has brought about positive results.
