Along with the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024, this summer, the city's tourism industry plans to organize a series of new events, programs, and activities to innovate and enhance experiences for visitors to Da Nang.

One of the products that has received much attention from tourism businesses, travel agencies, and tourists this summer is the series of events of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2024 - Enjoy Danang 2024. Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Tan Van Vuong said that this is an annual event on a city scale organized with many unique and attractive cultural, sports , and tourism activities to attract and serve people and tourists to visit, experience shopping, cuisine, and entertainment during the summer tourist season.

According to the plan, the Danang Enjoy Festival 2024 will take place from July 17 to 21 with 14 attractive activities such as the opening concert of the Danang Enjoy Festival 2024 held on the evening of July 17 at the East Sea Park with a scale of more than 20,000 guests, gathering many famous singers and artists, promising to be an explosive night, stirring up the sea space and creating an emotional summer mark in Danang city; Vietnamese - International Flavors Food Festival (from July 17 to 21) with more than 50 local, regional and international food stalls.

Here, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy famous dishes with diverse culinary cultures such as Quang noodles, banh xeo, cao lau, pho, desserts, street food... combined with sightseeing, shopping for souvenirs, agricultural products, and food at the space displaying and selling OCOP products. According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong, during the activities, people and visitors will enjoy culinary performances by artisans and professional chefs. In particular, at the traditional culinary experience space (from July 17 to 21), visitors can experience and make rustic traditional cakes with their own hands, imbued with the culinary culture of the Central region such as Tuy Loan rice paper, noodles, banh it, banh goi, banh loc...

In addition, there are also cultural and sports activities such as the art kite performance (from July 17 to 19) with the participation of more than 50 large-sized aerodynamic kites, unique shapes of marine creatures flying in the sky, creating a colorful space on Da Nang beach; the festival on the sand (from July 17 to 21) with a unique and novel art space on Pham Van Dong beach, Ha Khe beach and the park beach at the end of Nguyen An Ninh street (Lien Chieu). Coming here, visitors can pose with check-in models placing baskets, surfboards, body painting, and a sand service contest; a sailboat performance on the Han River (July 20) with the appearance of 15 sailboats parading along the Han River; Experience exciting activities of coastal fishermen such as fish carrying relay, basket shaking, tug of war in the Sea Festival on July 19 and 20 or experience the SUP Festival (July 17 to 21, Man Thai beach), enjoy kite surfing, banana boat, parachute boat performances (July 17, 18 at My Khe beach); participate in exciting activities in the Zumba performance (July 21 at East Sea Park); barefoot running on the sand (July 21 at My Khe beach)...

Promote early and attract customers

This year, the city's tourism industry and businesses have prepared summer festival activities and events very early with the hope of attracting domestic and international tourists to Da Nang. Deputy Director of Hai Van Cat International Travel Company Nguyen Ngoc Thien said that early on, the city's tourism industry has announced programs and information activities to travel businesses. In addition to city events, many areas also renew themselves to attract visitors such as Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area with Sun Fest Fair, B'estival Food and Beer Festival; art performances such as: "Fairy Blossom" show; WOW Kingdom show is a circus and magic party; or at Danang Dowtown with jesky & flyboard performance (jet ski and hydraulic board), water puppetry and dry puppetry, Vui phet night market...; at Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa there is Nippon Oi - the largest anime & cosplay festival in the Central region. According to Ms. Ngo Thi Thy Huong, Business Manager of Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts and Spa, this summer the business has also prepared products aimed at 3 generations of customers including the elderly - couples - children. Each different age group will have different accompanying services so that they can have fun and experience in the same space, without having to go far. According to Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung, the general trend of tourists is to look for new things. Therefore, tourism also has to constantly move, add new products, and renew existing products to meet the needs and tastes of tourists. Therefore, events and festivals held this summer are diverse, not only at the beaches but also at tourist attractions to create attraction and novelty for tourists, increasing the experience for tourists coming to Da Nang. To attract tourists, especially during the peak summer season this year, the Da Nang tourism business community and the association are committed to not increasing service prices and hotel rooms so that tourists can rest assured to enjoy and travel.
