On the afternoon of June 21, Hung Ha District People's Committee held a conference to evaluate the results of socio -economic development in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Hung Ha district focused on leadership and drastic direction to synchronously implement socio-economic development solutions, achieving quite comprehensive results. The total production value is estimated at more than 10,250 billion VND, up 6.61% over the same period in 2023, higher than the provincial average (6.45%), ranking 3rd out of 8 districts and cities. Of which, the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is estimated at nearly 2,051 billion VND, up 2.24%; the value of industrial and construction production is estimated at more than 6,298 billion VND, up 8.36%; the value of commercial and service production is estimated at more than 1,901 billion VND, up 5.83% over the same period. The district organized the evaluation and classification of products of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program at the district level in 2024 for 11 products. In the past 6 months, the district has attracted 12 projects committed to invest in the district, including 9 projects with domestic investment capital with a total registered capital of 2,751 billion VND, 3 projects with foreign direct investment capital with a total registered capital of 80.6 million USD... The total state budget revenue of the district is estimated at more than 714 billion VND, reaching 47% of the annual estimate. The cultural and social sectors achieved comprehensive results; national defense and political security were maintained.
