Hung Yen improves the quality of continuing education and expands vocational training.

GD&TĐ - On August 28, the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen held a conference to deploy continuing education work for the 2025-2026 school year.

After the merger, the whole Hung Yen province has 674 continuing education facilities. Of which, there are 18 vocational education and continuing education centers, 195 foreign language and information technology centers, 24 units and centers for organizing life skills education activities, 36 study abroad consulting centers and 399 community learning centers.

In the 2024-2025 school year, vocational education and training centers have proactively and flexibly developed teaching plans; innovated teaching methods towards developing students' qualities and capacities; and ensured fairness and objectivity in testing and evaluation.

The rate of high school graduates in the GDTX sector reached 98.35%.

The work of building "Learning Communities" has received attention, with 255 communes achieving the title of "Learning Communities" and 27 units achieving "Learning Units" at the provincial level.

Universal education work is maintained firmly, 100% of communes, wards, towns and localities meet universal education standards at all levels.

In the 2025-2026 school year, GDTX will continue to consolidate the network of facilities, improve the quality of teaching in line with the requirements of socio- economic development and the labor market; promote illiteracy eradication, build a learning society, pilot "digital learning points" in the community; innovate the management of vocational education and continuing education, enhance digital transformation in teaching, testing and assessment; mobilize socialization to improve facilities.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen, Pham Dong Thuy, requested a review of the entire vocational education and training network, and the expansion of vocational training to meet market demand.

Mr. Thuy also emphasized the need to improve the efficiency of community learning centers and strengthen links with businesses to improve the quality of vocational training. In addition, focusing on the "Digital Education for All" movement and strengthening the management of foreign language and information technology centers are also key tasks.
