According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, currently, in addition to using personal identification accounts to replace driver's licenses, health insurance cards, etc., people can also report crimes on the VneID electronic identification app quickly and effectively. All information of petitioners and complainants is kept confidential and not shared with any individual, unit or organization during the process of resolving petitions and complaints.
Criminal acts that citizens can report include: Crime of illegally collecting, storing, exchanging, buying, selling, and publicizing information about bank accounts; crime of illegally providing services on computer networks, telecommunications networks; crime of illegally using radio frequencies reserved for the purpose of search and rescue, national defense, and security; crime of intentionally causing harmful interference; crime of violating regulations on the use of laborers under 16 years old; crime of forced labor; crime of kidnapping hostages; crime of piracy; crime of humiliating comrades; crime of assaulting comrades; crime of appropriating, buying, selling, or destroying secret military documents; crime of losing secret military documents; crime of illegal household registration; crime of being a mercenary; crime of organizing brokerage for others to illegally exit or enter the country; crime of forcing others to flee abroad or stay abroad illegally; crime of violating regulations on detention; crime of disturbing the order of the court.
To report crimes on VNeID, citizens can follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your VneID account
Step 2: Go to Other Services > Suggestions, feedback on security and order > Create new request.
Step 3: Fill in all information > Click continue > Check the box "I am legally responsible for the content of the above report > Submit request.
VNeID application refuses to accept messages in cases where the message has no content (blank content), the message has content unrelated to the field of security and order, the message content is related to security and order but does not have enough information or basis for verification. Every day, the Commune Police regularly checks the notification software to process messages sent by people from the VNeID application. Within a maximum of 24 hours from when the Commune Police receives the VNeID message on the software, the Commune Police must immediately classify (accept or refuse to accept the message) to organize implementation.
However, to fully utilize the features of the VneID application, people should update to the latest version.
