The event is part of a series of outstanding activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Germany diplomatic relations (1975-2025) and has left a deep impression on international friends as well as the Vietnamese community in Germany.

Attending and visiting the Vietnamese cultural booth were Ms. Eva Weber - Mayor of Augsburg, Mr. Pham Huy Phuong - Head of Community Affairs Department of the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, and Mr. Tran Xuan Chien - Counselor of Community Affairs Department of the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany.

The Vietnamese booth at the festival has become a highlight attracting many visitors with its Vietnamese-style space, from the displayed images, traditional costumes, to typical dishes such as fried spring rolls, pho...

Speaking at the event, Mayor of Augsburg, Ms. Eva Weber expressed her joy that the city continues to welcome new cultural colors.

“Vietnam has brought Augsburg not only unique culinary experiences, but also cultural values, a spirit of community cohesion, and friendliness and openness. We appreciate the contribution of the Vietnamese community to the overall development of the city,” she emphasized.

For his part, Mr. Pham Huy Phuong, Head of the Community Affairs Committee, gave an emotional speech, emphasizing the importance of the event to the Vietnam-Germany bilateral relationship and the solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Germany: “Huong Sac Viet is not simply a festival, but also a symbol of friendship, a cultural bridge that helps connect the two nations.
