More than a dozen divers mobilized to search for a boy who slipped and fell into the river.

On October 13, according to a quick report from the People's Committee of Cam Linh commune (Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province), at around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, Mr. Thai Van B. (residing in village 3, Cam Linh commune) and his two sons were walking on a temporary bridge to cross the river to bail out water from the boat.

When the father got on the boat, the two sons followed behind and were still on the bridge. During the move, unfortunately the eldest son Thai Van V. (born in 2010) slipped and fell into the river.

Upon discovering the incident, the second son tried to shout for help, but at the time of the incident there were no passersby so no one could help in time.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hung, Chairman of Cam Linh Commune People's Committee, said that the local government has mobilized people, boats anchored at the wharf with more than a dozen divers to search for the victim. However, due to heavy rain, strong currents and turbid water, the search has encountered many difficulties, and so far V has not been found.
