(HBĐT) - That was emphasized by comrade Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee (SC) for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam in the province when inspecting the preparation work for organizing the exam in Da Bac district on the morning of June 22.
The working group inspected the facilities serving the exam at the exam site of Da Bac High School (Da Bac district).
The district has 3 examination sites located at Da Bac High School, Muong Chieng High School, Yen Hoa High School; a total of 522 candidates registered for the exam, arranged in 24 official examination rooms. During the preparation process, units with students registered for the exam have done a good job of propagating and disseminating the exam regulations; focusing on teaching and reviewing; actively preparing facilities, arranging personnel to participate in each stage. At the same time, strengthen coordination, build contingency plans to respond to unusual situations such as fire, power outage, storms, etc.
Regarding the plan to support and pick up candidates, the examination sites have made a list of candidates to ensure contact in case of need, arranged accommodation for candidates who live far from school and have difficulty traveling, and coordinated with local authorities to pick up and drop off candidates in case of need.
During the inspection, members of the Steering Committee discussed and clarified some issues that need attention from now until the completion of the exam. It is noted that up to this point, the basic preparation work has been completed, and the exam sites in Da Bac district are ready to organize the exam as planned.
Concluding the inspection, comrade Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Examination Steering Committee, highly appreciated the responsible participation of units, schools, and forces related to the organization of the 2023 High School Graduation Exam in Da Bac district.
Sharing the difficulties of the district, especially the traffic difficulties, he suggested that the district People's Committee and agencies, departments, branches and organizations continue to strengthen coordination to help the examination sites complete their tasks. In particular, it is necessary to carefully review plans to prevent and combat natural disasters and ensure traffic safety. Note that in case of unfavorable weather, there should be appropriate plans for candidates in remote areas, ensuring that the exam takes place safely and no candidate has to drop out of the exam for objective reasons.
