Duong Minh Chau District: Awarding ceremony of the 9th Book Drawing Contest in 2025

The contest takes place from April 1-21, 2025, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and at the same time respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Director of the District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center awarded the First Prize to the contestants.

After nearly a month of launching, the Organizing Committee received 389 entries from students of primary and secondary schools throughout the district. Of these, 287 paintings came from primary schools and 102 from secondary schools.

The content of the paintings is rich, revolving around the themes: homeland, country, Vietnamese people, historical figures, fairy tales, folk legends... In particular, many works focus on the theme of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, some children even create using the technique of tearing and pasting, bringing novelty and uniqueness.

At the closing ceremony, the jury selected 29 best paintings to award prizes. Among them, there were 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 17 consolation prizes.
