Chau Thanh: Handing over solidarity houses and gratitude houses to poor households

Attending the event were Mr. Doan Trung Kien - Member of the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Truong Van Hoan - Secretary of Chau Thanh District Party Committee along with leaders of the People's Committee, the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the sponsoring unit.

Leaders of Chau Thanh province and district presented decisions and photos of Uncle Ho to households receiving houses.

Accordingly, 7 solidarity houses and 1 gratitude house were built in the residential area of Thanh Long commune, for households in difficult circumstances and without land in Thanh Long, Ninh Dien and An Binh communes.

Each solidarity house has an area of over ^40m2 , tiled floor, ceiling, worth 90 million VND taken from the District's Fund for the Poor; each gratitude house is worth 160 million VND taken from the Provincial Gratitude Fund. In addition, Fico Tay Ninh Cement Joint Stock Company supports 100 bags of cement (equivalent to 9 million VND) for each house.

Provincial and district leaders and sponsors presented gifts to households receiving new houses.

At the ceremony, provincial and district leaders, sponsors and local authorities presented many gifts to households on the occasion of receiving new houses.

In addition, the Provincial and District Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee presented 132 gifts to poor, near-poor and poor households in the province on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
