Picking up and dropping down the beads that the craftsmen had just turned, Loc smiled brightly because the product was guaranteed to meet his requirements. While checking, Loc shared with us: I got involved in the craft of making bracelets by chance. Once when I visited my hometown in Quang Nam province - the land of agarwood craft villages, I saw people here making beads from the trunk of the wind gourd tree, there was something attractive so I researched and learned to find opportunities for myself. During my time in college, I still thought about bracelets. Many sleepless nights with many questions in my head and finally I decided to temporarily stop studying at college and return to my hometown to start making bracelets.
Certified product.
In 2015, Loc and two relatives in Mang To commune started working. However, the most important thing was that there was no machinery to create the product. Loc started to search, learn, order machinery to assemble and research more details to create beaded products. At first, he only did processing and sent the products back to his hometown in Quang Nam. However, the processing only earned wages and could not be expanded. So Loc studied, researched and bought machinery to assemble, researched and manufactured some more parts to create large and small beaded products according to his wishes. Determination and perseverance brought success. The beaded products promoted by Loc on social networks have received many orders not only domestically but also internationally. With 6 main machines for turning beads and 7 auxiliary machines for processing products, the facility produces about 2,500 - 3,000 kg of bracelet beads each month, of which 20 - 30% is exported to China and nearly 10% to the Korean market. The facility has created jobs for 9 local workers with each person earning from 5 - 14 million VND per month.
Loc added: To have a product that meets the standards of beauty, sophistication, and appeal to customers' tastes, the craftsman must be skillful and meticulous. By-products from the Agarwood tree, also known as agarwood, are abundant in Tanh Linh and some neighboring areas, and are cheap, so raw materials are not a concern. Bracelets made from Agarwood tree wood have a light, gentle agarwood scent and are widely used as popular jewelry today. Not only is it "unique" but it also means good luck, fortune in work, and good health.
