In which, Tan Duc Industrial Park (scale of 300 ha) and Son My 1 Industrial Park (total area of 1,070 ha) are focusing on removing difficulties and urging to promote project implementation progress. At Tan Duc Industrial Park, up to now, the compensation and support plan has been approved for 212 records/191 households/285.29 ha and 7.3 ha of land managed by the Commune People's Committee (reaching a rate of 97.53%). Thereby, most of the affected cases agreed to receive compensation, support and hand over the site with a total amount of approximately 524 billion VND (reaching a rate of 95.65% of the total area of the Industrial Park). Based on the proposal of the functional department, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to lease land to the infrastructure investor in 2 phases with an area of 258.02 ha/300 ha, reaching 86% of the total land area of Tan Duc Industrial Park...

For the Son My 1 Industrial Park project, there are currently 86.79 hectares of land that have completed compensation and site clearance work and the Provincial People's Committee has leased land to the investor with an area of 76.56 hectares. The remaining area is continuing to be implemented, especially focusing on compensation and site clearance in the priority area of 375.57 hectares, including 69 households and individuals/61 hectares and 8 organizations/227.5 hectares (land managed by the Commune People's Committee/0.64 hectares and 7 economic organizations/226.86 hectares)... Related to this Industrial Park, the Son My Resettlement Area project (phase 1) is also being promoted to carry out related steps, accordingly, construction will begin immediately after the site is available.
According to the Management Board of Binh Thuan Industrial Parks, in the past time, the investor of Tan Duc Industrial Park infrastructure has leveled the ground and constructed internal roads (D2, D3, N1, N2, N3), water supply plants, and wastewater treatment plants. Regarding the power supply for the project, Binh Thuan Electricity Company is currently implementing legal procedures to invest in a 22KV medium voltage line outside the Industrial Park and a 22KV medium voltage line in Tan Duc Industrial Park. The electricity industry plans to complete the construction of the 22KV medium voltage line outside Tan Duc Industrial Park in the third quarter of 2025, while the 22KV medium voltage line in the Industrial Park strives to be completed in the last quarter of the year to ensure power supply for secondary investors... Meanwhile, at Son My 1 Industrial Park, the investment in the water supply pipeline has also been completed by the locality, including reviewing, updating, and adding pumping stations and raw water supply pipelines for the project to the planning adjustment of Ham Tan district. Regarding the planning of the construction of a raw water pipeline for Son My 1 Industrial Park, in May, Ham Tan District People's Committee sent an official dispatch requesting the Department of Construction to provide guidance on implementation...
However, through monitoring, the Management Board of Binh Thuan Industrial Parks said that the progress of the Tan Duc Industrial Park and Son My 1 Industrial Park projects still faces some difficulties that need to be further addressed. Especially regarding compensation for site clearance, resettlement arrangements for households whose land has been recovered and who have to relocate, and the calculation of land rent (including exemption from land rent) of the project... Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee has been requested to direct relevant departments, localities and infrastructure investors to actively coordinate to speed up the implementation progress according to the set requirements. Thereby contributing to creating favorable conditions for secondary projects in Tan Duc Industrial Park and Son My 1 Industrial Park to soon complete construction and put into production and business operations.
It is known that although still in the implementation phase, the industrial parks in Ham Tan have initially attracted a number of secondary projects to register for investment. For example, at Tan Duc Industrial Park, up to now, the investor has signed an agreement to lease about 28.12 hectares of land with 6 customers, of which 1 project has been granted an investment certificate by the Binh Thuan Industrial Park Management Board. Meanwhile, at Son My 1 Industrial Park, there are also 3 projects with an area of 156.123 hectares and a total registered investment capital of more than 5 billion USD that have been approved for investment but have not yet been leased land...
Also in Ham Tan area, there is the Son My 2 Industrial Park project - phase 1 with a scale of about 468.35 hectares. Recently, the local government has issued a plan on land acquisition for project implementation and announced land acquisition (phase 1) with an area of over 165 hectares. In addition, it also directed relevant units to study and determine the bidding package price to hire consultants to determine specific land prices to serve the compensation and site clearance work of the Son My 2 Industrial Park project - phase 1 according to the instructions of the relevant departments...
