According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the first 6 months of 2025, the socio -economic situation of the province achieved many positive results, many growth indicators were better than the same period last year (GRDP is estimated to increase by 7%), creating momentum and premise to continue promoting growth in the remaining quarters of 2025. Notably, the industrial production index (IIP) increased by 4.6% over the same period. Agricultural production (agriculture, forestry, fishery) continued to increase quite well, especially the output of exploited aquatic products is estimated at 115,860 tons/plan 243,200 tons (reaching 49.9% of the plan, up 3.2% over the same period).

Tourism activities were bustling thanks to the long holiday and major events. In the first 6 months, the province welcomed about 5.54 million visitors, with revenue reaching over 15,000 billion VND. The trade, service and transportation sectors met the needs of people and tourists well. The attraction of non-budget investment projects continued to have positive results. The province continued to improve the investment environment, creating favorable conditions to attract non-budget investment capital.

Regarding the state budget revenue in the first 6 months of 2025, it is estimated at more than 5,913 billion VND, reaching 56.86% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
