Project 938 and Project 939 were assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Women's Union to preside over and coordinate with relevant sectors to implement, receiving consensus among members, women and people. In particular, from 2017 to 2025, the women's start-up movement spread widely from rural to urban areas, from the delta to the islands. Many women confidently put forward start-up ideas, starting businesses from their cherished passion and were trained and supported by all levels and sectors to improve their knowledge and skills in business, leadership, management of enterprises and cooperatives. As a result, many groups of ideas were included in the group of excellent projects and 1 idea won third prize at the national level.
In addition, the Association at all levels coordinated with relevant units to mobilize the establishment of 35 cooperatives and 49 cooperative groups with women participating in leadership, management or co-leadership, management in the fields of agriculture , seafood, and agricultural processing. Connecting with non-governmental programs and projects, banks supported 96,459 billion VND for nearly 2,800 ideas...
Project 938 has had a positive impact on the awareness and actions of each individual in the family and community, promptly grasping emerging social issues related to women's legitimate rights and interests. Each party clearly demonstrates its responsibility and proposes specific measures to resolve each case, in accordance with women's needs. These are issues of employment, prevention of domestic violence, social evils, child abuse, early marriage among ethnic minorities... along with organizing training to improve knowledge and skills in fatherhood, motherhood, pre-maritaleducation , and building happy families.
Attending the conference, Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed: Project 938 and Project 939 have contributed to promoting gender equality and developing women's potential. This is a lever for members and women in Binh Thuan to continue to boldly realize their startup ideas, start businesses and participate in solving some social issues, participating in Party building and building the political system in the province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In the context of the impact of the 4.0 industrial revolution, especially the contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, there will be many challenges for start-up activities but at the same time, there will be more opportunities if the development trend is grasped. Therefore, it is required that all levels and sectors continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints and objectives of the two projects, considering this a key and consistent task in the work for the advancement of women and gender equality.
Along with that, units need to promote communication, education, advocacy, and orientation to raise awareness of the whole society about the role, position, rights, and responsibilities of women in economic development, family building, and prevention of social issues. Implement the application of information technology in propaganda, dissemination, and raising awareness of members and women. Further strengthen the work of monitoring, inspection, and periodic evaluation to promptly remove difficulties, replicate good models, good practices, and create strong spread in the community.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to implement Project 939. In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union awarded certificates of merit to 13 groups and 13 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Project 938; 12 groups and 16 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Project 939.
