Of which, at Bac Luan II Bridge Border Gate, the total volume of import and export goods reached 667,332 tons, an increase of 48% over the same period in 2024, an average of 4,509 tons/day. At the Km 3+4 Hai Yen opening, export goods reached 300,485 tons, an increase of 66% over the same period in 2024. The main export items include: Fruits (189,033 tons), frozen seafood (76,060 tons), tapioca flour (15,257 tons); dried seeds and other goods (14,198 tons); shrimp, crab, live fish (5,937 tons). Imported goods reached 11,231 tons of miscellaneous goods, textiles and garments, an increase of 11% over the same period in 2024.
Along with the recovery and expansion of border trade, the state budget revenue through the area reached more than 1,035 billion VND, an increase of nearly 20% over the same period in 2024. The number of new enterprises participating in import-export procedures reached 452 enterprises.
The above figures show that Mong Cai continues to maintain its role as an important transit center for goods in the northern border region.
