In District 5, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Ngoc Hai visited Ms. Tran Y Linh (born in 1935, 57-year Party member, retired cadre, once imprisoned by the enemy). Not having her own family, she currently lives with her grandchildren's family. Although her health is poor and she can no longer travel conveniently, in her lucid years, she always set an example by participating in association and mass organization activities, actively encouraging her children and grandchildren to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws.
On behalf of the city leaders, comrade Duong Ngoc Hai kindly asked about her health, expressed his respect for Ms. Linh's contributions, and hoped that her family would continue to care for her so that she could soon recover her health and live happily with her children and grandchildren.

Next, the delegation visited Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (born in 1935, retired cadre, Party member with 40 years of Party membership). Ms. Lan was a core member of the "Traditional Mothers' Association" Club, and participated in the Executive Board of the residential group for more than 20 years. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee sent her birthday wishes, wishing her a happy and healthy life with her family.
Emotionally sharing when receiving the delegation, Ms. Lan expressed her joy, saying that she had been working in the residential group for 25 years, her wish was to work for 30 years, but because of a fall, she could not continue her work. "Today I am very happy to have many comrades come to visit me, my life of being a revolutionary until the end is more than enough, so much joy", Ms. Lan confided.

* On the same day, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City led by Comrade Ngo Minh Chau, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, visited and wished longevity to outstanding elderly people in Nha Be district.
The delegation visited Mrs. Tran Thi Bin (born in 1935, Phu Xuan commune) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hai (born in 1935, Phuoc Loc commune).
Visiting the two ladies at their home, comrade Ngo Minh Chau kindly inquired and wished them good health. At the same time, he emphasized that the tradition of “respecting the elderly and wishing them longevity” is a beautiful traditional cultural feature of the Vietnamese people. The elderly are a valuable asset of society, a spiritual support and a shining example for the younger generation to learn from and follow. He wished the two ladies good health, a happy life, a long life and continued to inspire the community, contributing positively to the development of the locality.
