The conference was connected online to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities. Attending at the Thai Nguyen bridge were Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

According to the report of the Ministry of Construction , the implementation of social housing construction has had many positive changes. Up to now, the whole country has planned 1,309 locations, with a scale of 9,737 hectares of land for social housing; there have been 679 social housing projects implemented with a scale of more than 623,000 units. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 22,650 social housing units have been completed and 21 more projects have started construction with a scale of nearly 20,430 units. However, the implementation of social housing projects still faces many difficulties, obstacles, and complicated and lengthy administrative procedures.
For Thai Nguyen, the Prime Minister assigned the target of completing 1,084 social housing units in 2025, and 23,116 units in the 2026-2030 period. The province has approved the investment policy for 5 social housing projects with a land area of about 19.5 hectares, expected to have 2,344 apartments. Of which, Dai Thang social housing area is expected to be completed and hand over 395 houses in the fourth quarter of 2025; 2 other projects are expected to be completed in 2025.
At the Conference, delegates agreed with the report of the Ministry of Construction and discussed difficulties and proposed solutions to effectively implement social housing construction.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended sectors and localities for accelerating the progress of social housing construction. However, the implementation is still slow because some localities have not really paid attention, have not given strong direction; policies for investors and home buyers are still limited.
The Prime Minister requested all sectors and levels to make efforts to complete at least 1 million apartments by 2030; review policies related to access to capital to buy and build houses for people and businesses. Localities integrate national target programs related to social housing construction to remove difficulties in the implementation process...
