[Infographic] Developing 5 national key universities in engineering and technology

NDO - University of Science and Technology, University of Construction, University of Transport, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education are 5 units oriented to develop by 2030 to become key national higher education institutions in engineering and technology.

According to the Plan for the network of highereducation and pedagogical institutions for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, there are 5 public higher education institutions (in addition to national universities and regional universities) with leading capacity and prestige in training, which are oriented to focus on investment, upgrading and developing research in a number of key and spearhead technical and technological fields and sectors to become key national higher education institutions in engineering and technology, with quality and prestige on par with the region.

These facilities, together with national universities and some regional universities, play a core role in training high-quality human resources and talents, research, development and innovation to serve the development of high-tech fields, strategic technology and national digital transformation.
