Accordingly, Mr. Hans Chuang was appointed by Intel to the position of General Director of SMG in the Asia- Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. This decision is effective immediately upon announcement.

Based in Taiwan, Hans Chuang will oversee Intel’s overall business operations in the Asia- Pacific and Japan regions, including driving revenue growth, connecting and working with the local ecosystem to create new collaboration and development opportunities, as well as strengthening relationships with existing partners and customers.

In March this year, Intel announced the creation of India as a separate region within the SMG to focus resources on capturing the business opportunities and growth potential in the country. In addition, Santhosh Viswanathan, Vice President and General Manager of India, will be responsible for managing the market to drive value and customer centricity based on his long-standing expertise.
Intel's appointment of Hans Chuang and Santhosh Viswanathan to lead SMG in the Asia-Pacific and Japan and India regions reflects the company's strategic focus on aligning its organizational structure to market developments.
By leveraging the leadership talent within the organization, Intel seeks to increase its responsiveness and effectiveness in capturing opportunities and addressing challenges within the regions, thereby positioning the company for sustainable success in these growth markets.
