Inter Milan and Napoli draw points, Serie A championship decided in the final round

Round 37 of Serie A ended with Napoli being held to a draw by Parma, while Inter Milan dropped the victory in the 90th minute, making the championship race breathless until the final round.

Round 37 of Serie A 2024/25 became a "blockbuster" when both top teams Napoli and Inter Milan were tied at the crucial moment. The Scudetto race was forced to wait until the final round to decide.

Napoli travelled to Parma with the aim of winning 3 points to secure an early title, but they were completely deadlocked against a team that was teetering on the brink of relegation. The bitter 0-0 draw also saw coach Antonio Conte dismissed in injury time.

In the match at the same time, Inter Milan seemed to have overcome difficulties successfully when leading Lazio 2-1 until the 88th minute. But tragedy struck: Both coaches Inzaghi (Inter) and Baroni (Lazio) received red cards for their reaction, before Pedro completed his double from the 11m mark, ending the match with a score of 2-2.

With this result, Inter is still exactly 1 point behind Napoli - making the final round a real "final": Napoli hosts Cagliari at home, while Inter has to play away against Como.
