According to Anadolu, Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Army Abdolrahim Mousavi on June 17 warned Israel of an imminent punitive attack.
In the recorded message, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi called on Israelis, especially in Tel Aviv and Haifa, to leave these areas immediately for their safety.

"Iran's retaliatory actions taken in recent days are only deterrent but a real punitive strike will happen soon," Mr. Mousavi warned.
The conflict between Israel and Iran erupted on June 13 when Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran, targeting the Islamic Republic's military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities say at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds more injured in Iranian missile attacks since June 13. Meanwhile, in Iran, at least 224 people have been killed and more than 1,000 others injured in Israeli strikes.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on June 16 that Iranian forces will respond to Israel until attacks on the Islamic Republic stop.
"We will continue to strike Israel as long as necessary to ensure that they no longer attack the Iranian people," Minister Abbas Araghchi said.
