Police determined that the total amount of property stolen by Lien from people's homes was about 47 million VND.

The arrested subject is Ho Van Lien (born in 1984), residing in A Luoi town. Since October 2023, between 12:00 midnight and 3:00 am, many houses in A Luoi town have been continuously broken into by thieves who stole many properties such as mobile phones, cash, etc.

Faced with that situation, A Luoi District Police established a special project, deployed all professional measures to focus on investigating, verifying, fighting, and arresting the perpetrator.

Taking advantage of the late night, when Ho Van Lien broke into a resident's house in A Luoi town to steal property, he was caught red-handed by A Luoi district police.

Searching Lien's house, the police seized many pieces of evidence, tools, and means of committing the crime. The total amount of property that Lien stole from people's houses was about 47 million VND.
