The Lotus - Uncle Ho's Letter in Sa Pa project started construction on November 19, 2007, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the day Uncle Ho sent a letter to the children of Sa Pa. After one year of construction, the project was inaugurated on November 19, 2008. This is a project with profound historical and educational significance, located in the most beautiful location in Xuan Vien Park. With the symbol of the noble lotus, the Lotus - Uncle Ho's Letter is not only a cultural project but also a source of encouragement and traditional education for the younger generation. This is also the place where Sa Pa Primary School annually organizes the admission ceremony for outstanding students of the school.

As one of 580 team members admitted to the Team in the 2024-2025 school year, Cao Gia Han, a student of class 4A1, Sa Pa Primary School, proudly said: Wearing a red scarf is a great honor for me. I am even more moved and proud to be admitted to the Team at Dai Sen - Thu Bac. I promise to try my best to study and practice to be worthy of being a good team member, a good child of Uncle Ho.

The school's organization of the Young Pioneers' admission ceremony for students at Dai Sen - Thu Bac has become a tradition for many years. During the admission ceremony, detailed information about the significance of Dai Sen - Thu Bac project is provided, helping students better understand the historical tradition, thereby increasing their pride, raising their sense of training and responsibility to the Fatherland. This is an important first step in educating students about life ideals.

At the beginning of the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year, Lao Cai City Youth Union also held a ceremony to admit 135 outstanding members of primary schools in the city to the new team, to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2025) at the Uncle Ho Memorial House in Ho Chi Minh Park, in Lao Cai Ward, Lao Cai City. This is a national historical site, marking the visit of Uncle Ho and the Government delegation to Lao Cai on September 23, 1958. The project was built in the area of ​​the old Lao Cai Power Plant, where Uncle Ho visited and encouraged workers.

“We selected 135 outstanding team members - this number represents 135 flowers offered to Uncle Ho, on the occasion of his 135th birthday. The admission ceremony held at Uncle Ho Memorial House combined with revolutionary history education will certainly become a memorable event in each student's life. Marking the first proud milestone on their journey to adulthood”, said Ms. Truong Thi Van Anh, Secretary of Lao Cai City Youth Union.

As one of 19 outstanding students of Bac Cuong Primary School, Lao Cai City, selected to participate in the Team Admission Ceremony at Uncle Ho's Memorial House, Ngo Duc Tung, class 3A3 happily said: I am very proud to be one of the 3 students in the class admitted to the Team this time. I feel that I need to try to be more obedient and study harder to be worthy of being Uncle Ho's Good Child.

The province currently has 148,930 team members, of which 8,354 were admitted in the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Many schools in some localities have actively recruited team members at "red addresses" in the area such as Lao Cai city, Sa Pa town, Van Ban district, etc. This has deeply engraved the meaning of the ceremony in the minds of each student, becoming a memorable milestone, a motivation for them to strive in studying and training.
