Need to add more capital for loans to support job creation

The inspection team worked with the Social Policy Bank of Song Cong City.

In recent times, the Social Policy Bank (SPB) of Song Cong City has always closely followed the socio -economic development orientation of the locality and the direction of superiors to implement credit policies for job creation loans for local workers. Accordingly, the total capital from the National Employment Fund implemented from the beginning of 2024 to present is nearly 173 billion VND, with over 2,220 projects in progress. The total number of new loan projects as of April 30, 2025 is 415 projects, with a total loan amount of over 36 billion VND, creating jobs for 455 workers.

Reality shows that the demand for loans to develop the economy and create jobs for workers in Song Cong City is very large, while the newly allocated additional capital is still limited.

The inspection team visited the pig farming model of a household that received a loan to support employment in Binh Son commune (Song Cong city).

The inspection team recommends that the Song Cong City Party Committee continue to pay attention to directing the effective implementation of Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period. The team will report on the situation to the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee to annually supplement new capital sources for the Provincial Social Policy Bank to deploy lending, maintain and expand employment for workers, especially rural workers.

The delegation also recommended that the People's Committee of Song Cong City plan to allocate a portion of the local budget to the City Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, contributing to increasing the loan fund to support job creation, maintaining and expanding employment in the locality.

Previously, the delegation inspected the production models of 4 households that received loans for economic development in Binh Son and Tan Quang communes. Accordingly, all households used the loans effectively and for the right purposes.
