Bustling lychee harvest season

At this time, all the early-ripening lychee growing areas in the province are bustling with the harvest atmosphere. This year, the lychee crop is bountiful, the selling price is stable, making farmers excited, working enthusiastically from early morning to late afternoon.

The lychee trees are ripe and full of fruit, ready for traders to come and buy.

Plump bunches of lychees, weighing about 3 kg, are carefully selected by locals and prepared for sale to traders.

Each harvest season, depending on the number of buyers, gardeners have to hire 20-30 more workers to keep up with the schedule.

To ensure the quality of lychee always retains its sweetness, freshness and characteristic color, people often choose to harvest early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Immediately after harvesting, the lychees are gathered at one point for preliminary processing: leaves are broken, bundled, stems are plucked, and tied into bunches.

With the advantage of early ripening, Dak Lak lychees are purchased by traders at a price of 50,000 VND/kg for fruits that meet export standards.

According to traders and purchasing businesses, this year's Dak Lak lychee is of high quality with beautiful appearance, large round fruit, thin skin, thick flesh... meeting the standards of domestic and foreign markets.
