Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Thu (Head of Content Subcommittee - Groundbreaking Ceremony Organizing Committee); Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy (Head of Propaganda Subcommittee) chaired the An Giang bridge point. Deputy Minister of Transport Le Dinh Tho; Director of Vietnam Expressway Administration Le Kim Thanh (Deputy Head of Content Subcommittee) chaired the Ministry of Transport bridge point.
Delegates focused on discussing and exchanging on the coordination of live broadcasting of the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway Construction Project (Phase 1) on the digital infrastructure of Giao Thong Newspaper at 4 connecting points: An Giang, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Soc Trang (broadcast live by Radio - Television Stations of An Giang, Can Tho, Hau Giang, Soc Trang and the Mekong Delta provinces).
The live broadcast is expected to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on June 17, 2023. At the An Giang bridge, there will be the participation of central leaders; at the Can Tho, Hau Giang and Soc Trang bridges, there will be the participation of leaders of central ministries and branches.
Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration Le Kim Thanh said that the Ministry of Transport delegation worked with the investor, related parties, and contractors to complete work contents, legal procedures, and comply with legal regulations before the groundbreaking ceremony. From there, the bidding packages and project components will be smoothly implemented after the groundbreaking ceremony.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Thu said that in order to ensure the organization of the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway Construction Project (Phase 1), at the starting point of Chau Doc City, the province has inspected and prepared the power system and backup power station for the ceremony program. At the same time, it has prepared conditions for content, reception, logistics, security and order, ensuring the ceremony takes place successfully, safely, solemnly and meaningfully.
