Entering the first half, U17 Vietnam was unexpectedly doused with cold water in the 2nd minute. Starting from an attack on the right wing, the ball was crossed high for Michiwaki to head the ball into the ground, leaving goalkeeper Bao Ngoc helpless, opening the score for U17 Japan.

After conceding the goal, coach Hoang Anh Tuan's players gradually regained control of the game and controlled the ball more. The red team played confidently and had a good game against the Japanese U17 players.

However, U17 Vietnam still had many difficulties approaching goalkeeper Goto of U17 Japan. Meanwhile, the team from the land of the rising sun after the opening goal did not create any significant opportunities towards goalkeeper Bao Ngoc's goal. The first half ended with U17 Japan leading 1-0.

In the second half, U17 Vietnam continued to push up the formation to look for an opportunity to score an equalizer. The efforts of U17 Vietnam had not yet received results when they unexpectedly conceded a second goal. In the 59th minute, still attacking from the right wing, the ball was passed back from the bottom of the field for Mochizuki to run up and shoot with one touch, leaving goalkeeper Bao Ngoc unable to react. In the 66th minute, Sato dribbled past the U17 Vietnam defender and shot past goalkeeper Bao Ngoc, raising the score to 3-0 for U17 Japan.

In the following minutes, with nothing to lose, U17 Vietnam tried to find a goal to shorten the score but failed. The most notable situation of U17 Vietnam was Cong Phuong's shot from outside the penalty area, but unfortunately the ball hit the post.

Despite being 4 goals behind, U17 Vietnam still continued to attack and search for an honorary goal. However, the Japanese U17 defense organized a tight defense, eliminating all opportunities for the red team. In the end, U17 Vietnam lost 0-4 to U17 Japan.

In the final match, U17 Vietnam players will meet U17 Uzbekistan at 7:00 p.m. on June 23.
