Specifically, at nearly 11:00 p.m. on June 12, 2025, while on patrol duty in the public area on the 2nd floor (Terminal T2), Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, an employee of the Trolley Team at Noi Bai International Airport, discovered a small black package on a trolley, at number 2, 3rd floor, public area of Noi Bai Passenger Terminal T2.
Ms. Tam immediately reported to the nearest aviation security force. Through visual inspection at the duty room, the package contained 100 50,000 won bills, totaling 5,000,000 won - equivalent to nearly 100 million VND.

At the same time, a Korean passenger, Ms. Kim Hyuna, was panicking during check-in when she discovered that the money bag was no longer in her bag. She ran around the area to search for it. After being guided by security forces, she quickly went to the security office.
There she met Mr. Hoang, the mobile security officer on duty, and Ms. Tam. She received the money back intact. Ms. Kim Hyuna emotionally thanked the airport staff and hurried back to the check-in counter to catch her flight to Korea that night.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam has been an employee at Noi Bai airport since 2003. She has picked up belongings left behind by passengers many times, but this is one of the few times she has received such a large amount of money.
“I was shaking. A large amount of money was lying on a cart in a hidden corner. If I were the one who lost it, I would have been so scared. I am glad that the property was returned to its rightful owner,” Ms. Tam shared. During his shift, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoang, an employee of the Mobile Security Team, also coordinated promptly, made a record of the inspection and proceeded to hand over the property to Ms. Kim Hyuna according to the correct procedure.
