Opening of the Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition of the Mekong Delta Sports Festival

The tournament had 80 athletes from 6 units, including: Ca Mau, An Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tien Giang and Ben Tre , hosted by Ca Mau.

80 athletes participated in the tournament.

Mr. Tran Hieu Hung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, presented souvenir flags to participating units.

Athletes will compete from August 10-15, with the following categories: Fitness for women 1m55, 1m60 tall; female bodybuilding in weight classes 46 kg, 49 kg, 52 kg; male bodybuilding in weight classes 55 kg, 60 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg...

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Fitness competition for women 1m55, 1m60 tall was held.

In the 1m55 female Fitness competition, the Gold Medal went to athlete Nguyen Pham Ha Thanh ( An Giang province); in the 1m60 female Fitness competition, the Gold Medal went to athlete Dang Thi Lan Phuong (Ca Mau province).

In the men's bodybuilding competition in the 55 kg weight class, the Gold Medal went to athlete Le Huu Phuoc; in the 60 kg weight class, the Gold Medal went to athlete Pham Truong Tho, both from Ca Mau province.
